Dr. Yashvir Singh is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, at Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Before joining this organization, he worked as an Associate Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era Deemed to be University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He has completed his Post Doctorate from Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and his Ph.D. in the area of tribology from the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He is having a rich experience of 14+ years as an academician and researcher in various Universities and Colleges. He has also worked as an Assistant Professor at Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur, Rajasthan, India; a Research associate at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan; University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, Uttarakhand. He is also a visiting research fellow at the National Cheng Kung University, in Taiwan, UTHM Malaysia, and Prince of Songkla University, Thailand.
He has received several awards such as Elsevier Reviewer Recognition Award and the Best Research Paper Awards from various organizations. He has received around 60 lac INR research grants for doing the project from the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. Around 5 Lac INR as a research grant from Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Mathura.
He has published more than 150 research papers in SCI/Scopus/Web of Science Journals with high impact factors. he has attended 35 Conferences in India and abroad. He has also written 8 books with International Publishers – Nova, CRC Press, De Gryuter, and River Publisher. He is also a reviewer and editorial board member of various reputed International Journals in Elsevier, Springer, Bentham Science, Taylor, and Francis. He is also an active member in organizing many international seminars, workshops, and conferences. He has also guided various post graduate students and presently working in collaboration with various Countries Professors and Scientists.
